Your primary role will be delivering impeccable product and educating our customers on our offerings while making recommendations based on their preferences. To be successful in this role, you should have strong customer service skills and knowledge of how brewing equipment operates.Requested TasksGreet customers warmly adhering to service standardsProvide guests with drink menus and answer questions regarding ingredients and substitutionsTake orders while paying attention to details such as dairy, sugar preferences, etc.Prepare and serve beverages following recipes in addition to any pastry offeringsReceive and process payments (cash, credit, room charge) and maintain a clean bar areaEnsure that the coffee shop area is tidy and presentableAdhere to all safety and cleanliness guidelinesAdhere to Makeready's Guiding PrinciplesAdditional duties and assignments as assignedRequested CapabilitiesPrior experience making coffee, tea, etc. drinks highly preferredProfessional, approachable and courteous personalityOrganizedAble to handle multiple guest orders and requests simultaneouslyRequired to stand; walk; use hands to serve and clear food, beverages, plates/cutlery/glassware, additional objectsAble to bend and kneel to clear tables, serve food, etc.Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 50 poundsAdhere to Makeready & property policies and procedures as definedAs part of the Makeready collection, we proudly offer a variety of thoughtful benefits and perks for eligible team members including accommodating PTO/PTO exchange, medical/dental/vision benefits, maternity/paternity leave, pet insurance, company-matched dependent care & 401k, student loan repayment program and a wide range of additional ancillary benefits.
