Job Summary:

Experienced and detail-oriented SAP Basis Administrator with a strong background in managing, configuring, and maintaining SAP systems across landscapes (Development, QA, Production). Skilled in SAP system installations, upgrades, migrations, kernel patches, and performance tuning . Proficient in managing HANA , Oracle , and SAP NetWeaver environments, with hands‑on experience in user administration, transport management, system monitoring , and disaster recovery planning .

Proven ability to collaborate with functional, development, and infrastructure teams to ensure high availability , system security , and compliance with best practices. Adept at supporting both on-premise and cloud-based SAP systems (AWS, Azure) , and well‑versed in handling mission‑critical production environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Here are 7 key responsibilities for an SAP Basis Administrator role:

• Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems across various environments (development, testing, production) ensuring high availability and performance.
• Perform system monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal SAP system performance and uptime.
• Manage SAP transports and change requests to promote development and configuration changes across landscapes following change management policies.
• Handle SAP system upgrades, patches, and kernel updates to keep systems current and secure.
• Perform database administration tasks including backup, recovery, and performance optimization of underlying databases (Oracle, HANA, SQL Server, etc.).
• Manage SAP user administration and security roles , ensuring proper access controls and compliance with organizational policies.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to provide SAP Basis support for project implementations, migrations, and troubleshooting issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Information Technology , or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in SAP Basis Admin and software development,
